Permanent, Holiday or Occasional Use
Check whether the provider accepts the caravan's intended use, including permanent residence, holiday or occasional accommodation. Answer any questions about occupancy, location and use accurately and check the applicable policy requirements. Onsite products may restrict the types of parks, communities or residential locations accepted.
Caravan, Site and Added Structures
Check how decks, annexes, awnings, sheds, carports, skirting and other permanent additions are treated under the policy. Land, park infrastructure and shared facilities may not form part of the insured property. Check the site agreement for any insurance requirements or responsibilities and confirm how removal or relocation costs are treated by the policy.
Contents and Liability
Check the policy's contents definition, limits and any belongings kept at the site. Check cover for theft, storm, flood, fire, temporary accommodation and legal liability. Security conditions and flood cover may vary by location.
